This range of throws uses the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh. They are 100% printed cotton with a self—coloured backing and are embellished with lines of running stitches. A standard blanket double, they are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room.
This bold large-scale blue carnation print is a sophisticated choice; white frilly petalled carnations, exotic yellow blooms, and blossoms look beautiful against a deep blue background. Branches garlanded with budding flowers and detailed leaves in shades of green and pinks with highlights of yellow twist through the design.
